well that's nice 


I found out yesterday that A Boy and a Bear in a Boat has been long listed for both the CILIP* Carnegie medal and the CILIP Kate Greenaway medal.

So, um, that's really very nice.

There was no need to make such a fuss celebrating on my behalf, though. All those fireworks, really, you shouldn't have.


*That's the Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals - I do love a good librarian.
